of gofs and eternal sunshine of the spotless mind

was typing an entry halfway and..
"IE has encountered a problem and needs to close"
crap.
anyway..
snow city was fun..
glad we went.
there are no words to describe that feeling in the butt.
yes, the butt, not the gut.
the feeling in the butt that's both hot and cold at the same time
you don't know if the friction of sliding down just burned your jeans or if you're just freaking freezing your butt off.
i seriously couldn't tell the difference.

went to holland v settlers' and saw ML working there.
haven't seen her in years.

aud's chinese isn't half bad actually. except maybe her idea of some 4 words joining up to form cheng yu.
but hmm. i'm really not that good with both chinese and english scrabble after all. ha.
still, i like them.
most of my games have to do with words:
boggle, a variation of boggle, scrabble, chinese scrabble, upwords and now smartmouth.
mobile settlers' coming up? ha.
seriously, if Ben sets up his cafe thingy in NUS we should entertaining the idea of putting our games there.

finally watched eternal sunshine of the spotless mind.
like the idea, the concept, the way it was filmed, the sequence.
the moment for me was when he realized he didn't want her erased from his memory.
not even cos she did it to him first, not even if the memory of her made him sad.

“We are not the same persons this year as last; nor are those we love. It is a happy chance if we, changing, continue to love a changed person.”
William Somerset Maugham

Being together changes people. Perhaps one reason why people break up is because they are afraid of who they've become as a result of that relationship.

and i'm glad to say, i am who i am because of many of you.

may we shape one another as long as our paths cross.

Music of the Lee Brothers

it was good, really.
the singing, the lyrics, the music.
and this is the first time i've heard Peng Jiahui live, but her voice is really power.
in fact, i think it's comparable to Ah Mei's. Never thought she was so good till i heard her live.

and Yanzi came! ha.
surprise surprise.
was really quite happy.
cos when the teachers from the school sang excerpts from her hits written by the Lee brothers,
somehow it just wasn't shiok enough. ha.
though she only sang one song, good enough for me.
her live singing is quite good too.
